In the wake of a remarkable EMERGE conference in Istanbul, it's time to lift the curtain on the statistics that underpin its success. Our event was more than just moments on stage; it was the collective efforts of attendees, partners, startups, and an entire team that worked tirelessly behind the scenes. In this blog post, we delve into the numbers that made EMERGE Istanbul 2023 an unforgettable experience, showcasing the global reach, collaborative spirit, and innovative energy that powered this event. 1500 attendees from 60 countries participated in the conference in Istanbul. The top 5 countries represented at EMERGE are listed alphabetically:

The conference was attended by 150+ investors from Turkey, MENA, Europe, the USA, the UK, India and Kazakhstan.
49 speakers from 20 countries
We were honored to welcome 49 speakers from 20 countries, with a third of them being women experts. Over two action-packed days, we featured two stages, WOW and HOW.
The WOW stage was dedicated to keynote speeches and expert talks from prominent companies like Netflix, Microsoft, Checkout.com, TechCrunch, Hugging Face, and Amazon Web Services.
The HOW stage focused on delivering practical solutions for EMERGE attendees, offering workshops, roundtable discussions, and WEB3 Debates.
Additionally, our Investor breakfast, Woman in Tech sessions, and the new Founders and Angels sessions were all resounding successes, providing valuable insights, networking opportunities, and meaningful connections.
150 startups
150 startups from 37 countries, including Turkey, the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel, Poland and others were presented at EMERGE in Istanbul. They took part in Challenge and Startup Alley as well as created meaningful connections among investors and peers during workshops and while networking.
6 winners at EMERGE CHALLENGE
As always, EMERGE kicked off with the highly anticipated annual startup pitching competition, EMERGE CHALLENGE – which culminated in 8 finalists securing over $1M in investment commitment. Winners include:

Boomerangme offers an easy-to-use white-label Loyalty Platform designed for Digital Agencies. It's a game-changer that helps digital agencies transition from transactional models to the lucrative world of SaaS.
2️⃣ TYMY (Turkey)
TYMY is forging ahead with a cutting-edge SaaS ecosystem meticulously tailored to supercharge your sales efforts. TYMY is set to revolutionize the way businesses approach sales!
3️⃣ Pass24.online (UAE)
Pass24.online is making waves with its Cloud access control system, complete with a mobile application for guests and key management. Convenience and security combined!
ULTRA.VC prize winners
ULTRA.VC provided a special prize for 2 startups that performed the best at the EMERGE Challenge after our joint CATALYZE program for idea-stage entrepreneurs. The selected startups will join ULTRA.VC impact-focused accelerator later this fall.

13 mentorship sessions
EMERGE mentorship sessions have always been a resounding success, as we bring together seasoned startup founders, investors and top tech professionals. Before the Istanbul conference, we managed 2 sprints of mentorship group sessions where 45 startups gained insights and got some advice from 13 EMERGE mentors. A dedicated team of 15 EMERGE members worked tirelessly to bring EMERGE Istanbul 2023 to life. The entire team, alongside 45 devoted volunteers, invested their time, energy, and hard work to ensure that you would have a memorable two-day experience in Istanbul.
