When applying before 20 April, your Startup Ticket includes:

• Opportunity to pitch
• Exhibit in the virtual Startup Alley
• Access to the Matchmaking App to schedule 1-on-1 meetings with investors
• Feature in EMERGE newsletter for investors

You need to apply for the Startup Ticket first and get through the selection process. It takes approx. 1-2 weeks to review the application. Once you are accepted, you will get a link to purchase the startup ticket. After you purchased the ticket, your startup can claim other benefits described on EMERGE Startup page. Note, full startup experience (opportunity to pitch in EMERGE CHALLENGE and Venture Lounge, exhibit at the Startup Alley, access to matchmaking) is available for those, who apply before 20 April.

Startup Ticket is open for any innovative tech startup from the New East region that has received under €3 mln in funding to date, develops a global tech product, and has a working prototype and early traction.

EMERGE CHALLENGE is a startup pitching competition at EMERGE. It's open for any startup that has received under €250k in funding to date, develops a global innovative tech product, and has a working prototype and early traction. The winner of the competition gets €10,000 cash prize. Participation is included in the Startup Ticket if purchased before 20 April.

VENTURE LOUNGE is invite-only themed pitch session for global tech startups at the growth stage with recurring revenue or users and/or developing deep tech. Pitch will take place in front of international Seed/Series A investors. Participation is included in the Startup Ticket if purchased before 20 April.

When you apply for Startup Ticket before 20 April, you get a chance to pitch. Depending on your startup stage and technology focus, you will be invited to either of the pitching sessions.

Startup Alley is where you exhibit your startup for 3 days. It is a virtual catalogue with all the inrofamtion you provided when applying. It is the place to attract the attention of investors, media and get to know potential clients and partners.

Application for EMERGE CHALLENGE is open until 20 April. You need to fill in the application form first. All applicants need to hold Startup Pass in order to enter the competition. Shortlisted startups for Semi-Finals will be announced at the beginning of May latest when all applications are recieved.
When applying before 20 of April, you get all startup benefits, including opportunity to be selected for EMERGE CHALLENGE, a stand in a Startup Alley and access to Matchmaking.

Applications for EMERGE CHALLENGE close on 20 April. After that, submitted applications will be reviewed by our jury panel, followed by video interviews. All shortlisted startups will be invited to the Semi-Finals at 12 and 13 May during the EMERGE. Selected finalists will pitch on the Main Stage on 14 May. Startup founders or someone from the team who knows the product well should be able to present their company in English fluently, as English is the working language of EMERGE. The winner receives €10,000 cash prize.

Yes, you can. It means you will compete for the prize in the startup competition and also showcase your startup at the Startup Alley during the 3 days of the conference. EMERGE CHALLENGE participation is included in the Startup Ticket purchased before 20 April only.

EMERGE CHALLENGE and Startup Alley are already included in your Startup Ticket. Whether you decide to take part in both EMERGE CHALLENGE and Startup Alley, or in one or another — the price remains the same. Startup Alley is already included in your Startup Ticket. It will be a virtual booth with all information about your startup you filled when applying. You can opt-out from exhibiting, just shoot as an email on startups@emergeconf.io.

Absolutely YES! Although, we can not select all the applicants for EMERGE CHALLENGE Finals, we would love to have you with us at Startup Alley. It is a chance to showcase your idea to investors and potential customers, receive feedback and get to know other founders from 30+ countries!

Shortlisted startups will be announced at the beginning of May. These startups will then pitch at Semi-Finals.
