The topic is getting hotter as startups are flourishing and reacting fast to the challenges in the world. They are prompt at spotting new opportunities and identifying gaps in the markets. This agility is widely supported by the ecosystems worldwide, emerging tech hubs with the New East region being one of the examples. Venture funds and angel investors keep their eyes open for the next big thing in the industry.
What's happening to corporations and their stability in this turbulent time? Are they affected in some way and if so, how do they act in this rapidly changing environment?
Corporate Innovation Lab (CorpLab) is the place to answer these questions and find those outliers who dare to trigger changes in the corporate world and look for the ways to experiment.

This Сode of Сonduct states the behaviour we support and don't tolerate both at the conference and online, incl. any social media and emails. We expect all attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, exhibitors, team members and volunteers to adhere to EMERGE Code of Conduct.

Together with EMERGE guests, we create the best tech-conference in the New East and one day in the world. It means, we encourage respectful and tolerant behaviour towards everyone at EMERGE which also comes with curiosity, open-mindedness and a good amount of fun. We don't accept harassment or offensive behaviour at our conference venues or anywhere. It contradicts our company values. Moreover, it contradicts our values as human beings.
We are committed to creating a place that is welcoming and respectful to all participants, regardless of race, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, age, national origin, ethnicity, or religion.
These behaviours do not belong at EMERGE events:
When we say 'harassment', we mean offensive comments, verbal threats or demands, sexualised images in public spaces, intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording. Harassment also includes sustained disruption of sessions or events, unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention, slights and negative messages, both unintended and intentional. This also applies to the speakers' presentations which should not use images or examples that would violate the Сode of Сonduct.
Sponsors, partners and exhibitors should not use sexual images, giveaways, activities, or other materials in their promotions. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not use suggestive clothing/uniforms/costumes or otherwise create a sexualised environment.
We expect all participants — attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, exhibitors, team members and volunteers — to follow the Code of Conduct during the conference and all the conference-related social events at off-site locations, and in related online communities and social media.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of EMERGE team immediately. We will take action to assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe at the conference. EMERGE Team and volunteers can be identified by their #emergegang t-shirts and badges. Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. Conference participants violating this Code of Conduct may be expelled from the conference without a refund, and/or banned from future EMERGE events, at the discretion of EMERGE organisers.
